Some fruits of Fear…..

Fear will cause you to not just create excuses but also complain and blame others. This is something we tend to do in fear as a way to avoid the fact that we have taken the responsibility of giving into fear and dropping the ball in our own lives… So while fear is the seed, the fruit of that seed shows up as complaining, excuses, and blame of others in our lives.

So… is there an area of your life where you find yourself making lots of excuses?

Do you find yourself complaining a lot about a certain area of your life?

If the answer is yes, do the following….

  1. Acknowledge the fact that you are complaining a lot or making a lot of excuses…. The Bible says that we shouldn’t let any corrupt or unhelpful things come out of our mouths. Ephesians 4: 29-32. Keep in mind that if it’s in our hearts, then we are still held accountable for it… Proverbs 23:7
  2. Take some time to figure out why you feel the way that you feel and take it to God. Allow God to help you figure out what’s really going on… Psalms 51:20
  3. Repent where needed. This includes repentance from choosing fear over the Love of God who helps us do all things. 2 Chronicles 7:14
  4. Pick up your cross. I know, it’s like what does the cross have to do with anything? Everything! When we pick up our cross and live for Jesus, the rest of our life falls into place. We don’t walk in condemnation when we walk with Jesus…. Matthew 16:24-26

I could really go deeper, but I’ll stop there for now. Don’t allow fear to prevent you from accomplishing the things you know you are called to do… When we seek God and give our lives over to Him, we accomplish so much more. It may not look like what we think it should because God doesn’t think like us… But when we fully trust our lives in God, we have no fear and we live fulfilled and promising lives…
